Terms and Conditions
General
The properties featured are offered as self-catering accommodation or serviced let on a nightly basis minimum stay 3 nights. Entry is from 3pm on date of arrival and departure is 11am on date of departure, unless otherwise stated, subject to the Hiring Terms and Conditions.
Booking your Property
To book a property, please view the Apartments and Rates in Villa Corte. Once you have decided on the apartment you would like to book, you can use the online booking form to email your booking enquiry. You will receive a response within 48 hours. If you prefer, you can book by contacting Jenny or Linda on +44 (0) 131 622 7077, we will be happy to help you with any bookings or questions that you might have.
In the event that a property is not deemed suitable by Villa Corte for the party or, due to circumstances beyond our control, a property becomes unavailable; Villa Corte will refund any credit card or other payment (including any handling charges).
Cancellation Protection
We strongly recommend that you use travel cancellation insurance to cover the cost of your property. This will provide you with piece of mind if an unforeseen event forces you to cancel your let.
Payment for your property
We have tried to make paying for your let as simple as possible. The initial payment is a minimum of 50% non refundable deposit and may be paid by cheque or credit/debit card. The balance is payable no later than six weeks prior to commencement of your let. If you are booking within six weeks of the start of your let, payment in full is required with your booking form.
Security
For your security and piece of mind all transactions are processed by hand using the “Customer Not Present” method. If you require a receipt of your credit card transaction please email info@villa-corte.com with your request.
Bookings
If booking more than one apartment, all crockery, cutlery, pans and dishes etc moved around/between the apartments, by groups must be returned to their relevant property, prior to departure. The person named on the booking form will be considered as the 'Responsible Person' who shall ensure that each property is left in a clean and orderly condition. Credit Card Details (or €50 refundable cash deposit per apartment booked) is payable on arrival. This is an insurance to cover any damages or extra cleaning charges which may be incurred.
Cancellations
Please note that, once a booking has been confirmed, you are liable for the whole cost of the let. However, we will, in any event, endeavour to re-let the property and, if successful, we will make a refund to the value of the re-let period, less a 10% administration charge. Accordingly, it is important that cancellations are intimated to us by telephone followed by immediate written confirmation.
Equipment
Each property is furnished and equipped to cater for the stated permitted occupancy and includes pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, iron and ironing board etc. Major items of domestic equipment are listed in individual property details.
No Smoking
All our properties are NON Smoking.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at any of our properties, for logistical reasons.
Linen
All properties are supplied with pillows, duvets and bed linen, bath sheets, bath towels, hand towels and face cloths. Dish towels and hand towels are also provided and included in the price.
Cleaning
All properties are cleaned thoroughly between each let. However, as only a limited period of time is available to clean properties, it is a condition of your let that you leave the property and its contents in an acceptable condition, and any used bedding and towels should be left in the bath.
The hirer shall ensure that the standard of cleanliness of the premises is as high on their departure as on their arrival. A surcharge of €50 will be levied if this condition is not observed.
The hirer may opt for Villa Corte to do the cleaning for them. This requires a minimum of 24 hours notice, and will cost €20 for the extra cleaning.
Complaints
It is important to us that you enjoy your stay and every effort has been made to ensure this. However, in the unlikely event of dissatisfaction with the property or any subsequent problem, you should immediately contact us so that the opportunity to rectify the problem is given.

The hirer may opt for Villa Corte to do the cleaning for them. This requires a minimum of 24 hours notice, and will cost €20 for the extra cleaning.
The Hirer shall not sub-let the premises or any part thereof.
The number of people occupying the premises shall not exceed the number stated for the premises.
The Hirer binds and obliges himself to vacate the hired premises without demand at the termination of the period of hire.
The Hirer binds and obliges himself to pay the lessor in respect of any loss or damage beyond fair wear and tear.
Where the Hirer has made a Group Booking (2 or more apartments) a €50 deposit per apartment is payable on arrival. (Or credit card details supplied). The person named on the booking form will be considered as the 'Responsible Person' who shall ensure that each property is left in a clean and orderly condition. This is refundable on departure, once Villa Corte are satisfied that the properties have been left in the same condition they were hired out in.
Your initial payment comprises of a non refundable deposit. The balance of the hire charge must be paid at least 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. The Lessor may treat the booking as cancelled if the balance of the hire charge is not sent by this date. If the booking is made within 6 weeks of the start of the holiday, payment in full at the time of booking is required.
The Hirer agrees that, in the event of Cancellation, while all reasonable efforts will be made by the lessor to re-let, the Hirer will be responsible for paying for the period of tenancy booked if a substitute cannot be found.
The Lessor, his agents or employees, accept no responsibility for loss, injury or damage to any member of the Hirer’s party or their property, arising in any manner out of the let of the premises, however caused.
The Hirer shall undertake to prevent any member of his party from causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbouring residents or occupiers.
The Hirer undertakes to leave the hired premises secure if left unoccupied during the period of let.
The Hirer undertakes to relieve the Lessor from any liability for damage or injury by any member of his party, however caused.
The Hirer warrants that the subjects let are to be used for the purposes of a Holiday.
We reserve the right of entry to the properties at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out repairs or maintenance.
